By fall of this year, it will be the battle of Los Angeles following both Clippers and Lakers' suped-up offseason.

The Clippers added All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in addition to re-signing defensive sieve Patrick Beverley to a new contract.

Meanwhile, the other Staples Center team acquired All-NBA forward Anthony Davis in a blockbuster trade before June's draft and signed Danny Green and DeMarcus Cousins and re-signed JaVale McGee and Rajon Rondo in free agency.

Despite the flurry of moves made by both LA teams, the projected starting lineups look a bit lopsided—going in King James' favor.

In a graphic shared by ESPN's SportsCenter Twitter account, future Hall of Famer LeBron James still has more All-NBA and All-Star appearances and a greater number of NBA titles and Finals MVP distinctions than the projected combined starting five for the Clippers altogether.

James is a three-time champion, twice with the Miami Heat and once with his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. He won every Finals MVP award that year. Leonard is a two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP himself.

The Clippers will likely start George and Leonard with Beverley, rising sophomore and excellent perimeter shooter Landry Shamet, and either Montrezl Harrell or center Ivica Zubac, the latter of which was acquired from the Lakers.

The purple and gold team, meanwhile, will see LeBron James, wearing #6 next season, play predominantly at the point guard position. Slotted next to James will likely be Davis, Green, 23-year-old Kyle Kuzma, and either centers McGee or Cousins.

Cousins signed a one-year deal to play with the Lakers alongside former teammates Rondo and Davis.

It will be quite the bout as the two Staples Centers teams fight it out four times a year next season—and hopefully in a postseason series by April or May.
