The beef between the Los Angeles Lakers and Jae Crowder continues to simmer. Well over a month after the Phoenix Suns eliminated the Lakers in a spicy first-round series, the two sides are still bickering. This time, the spat took place on Instagram and included a contribution from Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.

First, an NBA fan account @cuffsthelegend posted an image of Crowder salsa dancing on the Staples Center floor in the closing moments of Phoenix's 113-110 Game 6 win on June 3.

Crowder — who has a history of disagreements with LeBron James — was mocking a commercial featuring James showing off his salsa moves. James had blatantly trolled Crowder earlier in the series.

The Suns, of course, reached Game 6 of the NBA Finals, and Crowder played a major role in their superb playoff run.

Lakers assistant coach Phil Handy commented on @cuffsthelegend's post and called back to the caption Crowder used with the IG slideshow he posted after Game 6, which referenced this Space Jam tweet from James.

“Aint no fun when the rabbit got the gun”… we will remember that shit,” Handy commented.

After Crowder clapped back, Handy told Crowder to delay the antics until he wins a ring. Not surprisingly, Draymond Green — who I'm pretty sure has won more championships than any player in NBA history — sided with the Lakers assistant coach. Crowder did not.

During a recent appearance on ESPN's “The Jump”, Crowder explained his decision to break out the salsa.

“I don’t know if you remember Game 3. They did a LOT on the sidelines in Game 3,” Crowder said. “That ruffled a lot of feathers on our side. That gave us some extra spark and motivation. That’s all it was…We waited til the last 30 seconds of defeat to let our trash-talking do the talking.”

All of this is to say: Lakers-Suns should be pretty darn good next year. The question is: what side will Chris Paul be on?
