Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is considered one of the greatest to ever play in the NBA. His basketball IQ on the court was undeniable. But at the end of the day, he's still a boomer trying to get a good grasp of how best to use the internet.

Kareem recently posted an odd meme on Instagram featuring current Lakers star LeBron James and his Brooklyn Nets rival Kevin Durant. The post was meant to advertise Kareem's free substack, which we'll also plug out of respect, but the accompanying meme didn't exactly make too much sense with it.

The post understandably drew a number of puzzled reactions from fans wondering what was up with the Lakers icon's post.

Was the Lakers legend hacked? Perhaps Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a closet memelord just testing out his material before posting on the dank web? Or maybe this was his plan all along to generate buzz for his substack and get people talking about it by sharing his peculiar post? If it was the latter, then touché Mr. Abdul-Jabbar.

Hopefully someone asks Kareem what his post is all about the next time the Lakers center gets interviewed.
