The Los Angeles Lakers lost out on the most recent chapter of the Battle of LA on Friday as the Clippers escaped with a 119-115 win in what turned out to be a tightly-contested matchup. Fans of both teams have been going at it on social media since and as it turns out, even a couple of the players themselves have engaged in a bit of smack talks after the game.

Kendrick Nunn, who sat out Friday's loss due to injury, exchanged barbs with Clippers big man Isaiah Hartenstein on Instagram. The Lakers guard did not seem to appreciate Hartenstein's social media flex and Nunn decided to let him know:

Nunn is clearly feeling salty about the loss and perhaps the fact that he wasn't able to take the floor for the Lakers stings him even more. The 26-year-old has been dealing with a lingering knee injury and has yet to make his debut for his new team since joining the squad in the summer as a free agent. Needless to say, Nunn is itching to return to the court at this point.

Following Friday's defeat, the Lakers are now 12-12 and are currently sitting in the eighth spot in the West. They return to action on Tuesday to take on one of their most bitter rivals in the Boston Celtics.
