Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis will be looking to stay healthy in 2022-23 after playing in just 40 games last season. Between his injuries and Russell Westbrook's unnatural fit, it was a nightmare campaign for the Lakers.

AD revealed a few weeks ago that hadn't shot a basketball since early April. That sparked huge concern across the NBA world and just days after, he was seen in the lab with Lethal Shooter. However, there is one legend who had a strong, NSFW message for the Lakers big man: Kevin Garnett. The Hall of Famer went in and truly believes Davis can be an MVP next season if he puts his mind and heart into the sport.

Garnett thinks AD should be gunning for Most Valuable Player. He also voiced that it's his time to “carry to torch” after LeBron James has done so for over a decade. By the sounds of it, KG truly believes Davis isn't living up to his potential in LA. Garnett also can't wait to see the influence Rasheed Wallace can have on AD's game, who is set to be one of Darvin Ham's new assistants.

To be frank, KG is not wrong. Staying on the court is obviously a huge part, but it should be AD leading this Lakers squad at this point, not Bron. He's literally 37 years old.

Davis averaged 23.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 2021-22 for the Lakers. Hopefully, he takes Garnett's words as encouragement and fuel to come back with a vengeance once the regular season rolls around.
