There is no doubt that Shaquille O'Neal has been one of the most affected by the untimely loss of former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant. O'Neal recently took part in the NBA's tribute show for Bryant, in which the big man spoke about his grief and how difficult it has been for him to cope with Kobe's death.

Recently, Shaq took to Instagram to further honor his fallen former co-star. O'Neal posted a photo of himself and Bryant posing inside the White House in what appears like one of their post-championship visits to the iconic American institution. As a pair, these two formed one of the most fearsome duos in all of NBA history, winning three straight titles with the Lakers between 2000 and 2002. The snapshot below could have been during one of their mandatory White House trips in the wake of any of the three chips they won together.

O'Neal also accompanied the photo with a simple, yet moving message for Kobe. In Shaq's mind, he considers his former teammate to be the Greatest Of All Time. That's definitely some praise coming from one of the most dominant big men this league has ever seen. It is obvious in Shaq's brief caption that he is still in deep sorrow as he tries to cope with the tragic passing of a man he considered to be his brother.

O'Neal and Bryant's disputes on and off the court were no secret, with their disagreements eventually emerging as one of the main reasons behind Shaq's departure from the Lakers in 2004. Nonetheless, these two patched things up years later, and have been extremely close since. We can only imagine how O'Neal is feeling right now, and we really hope he is able to pull through from this tragedy at the soonest possible time.
