The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the lowly Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, and superstar small forward LeBron James reportedly didn’t look “totally engaged” in the game, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

Despite finishing with a triple-double, James' body language wasn't good, as he had his head down most of the night and looked frustrated with his teammates.

According to one person, LeBron James didn’t look “totally engaged” despite producing a triple-double of 28 points, 16 assists and 11 rebounds.

Another person said all the Lakers had “bad body language” during the loss that dropped the Lakers below .500 at 28-29. The Lakers are currently out of the playoffs in the Western Conference, standing in the 10th spot.

LeBron is still making his way back from the groin injury he suffered on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors. It's highly doubtful the four-time MVP is 100 percent, but that's no excuse to not be engaged in the game.

James is the best player in the world and the leader of the Lakers. If he has negative body language, it's going to rub off on the rest of his teammates.

The NBA All-Star break is here for the Lakers, and it's coming at the perfect time for the team. The players, including LeBron James, need to regroup mentally and physically and get ready for the second half of the season.
