Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon might miss their upcoming game against the Milwaukee Bucks after hurting his back during their Eastern Conference showdown with the Brooklyn Nets.

According to Josh Robbins of The Athletic, Gordon confirmed that his back is very tight, which makes him doubtful against the Bucks on Saturday. The 23-year-old forward said that he tweaked his back when he changed direction during a loose ball situation.

Gordon exited early in the fourth quarter, and was ruled out of the entire game. Magic head coach Steve Clifford also confirmed to Preston Ellis of Bleacher Report that Gordon sustained a lower back injury. They will know that extent of the injury on Saturday before their home game against Milwaukee.

With Gordon out for the majority of the fourth quarter, the Magic succumbed and absorbed a tough 117-115 loss to the Nets, which was their 26th defeat against just 19 wins this season. Before exiting out of the game, Gordon tallied 23 points on 9-for-13 shooting on top of five assists and four rebounds for Orlando.

D'Angelo Russell was too hot to handle on Friday night, as he finished with a career-high 40 points on 16-for-25 shooting, including an 8-for-12 clip from beyond the arc. Spencer Dinwiddie also had a productive night, scoring 20 points, with 18 of it coming in the second half.

The Nets are on upward trajectory, as they have now won in 16 if their last 23 games. They improved to 24-23 to remain sixth in the Eastern Conference standings. According to ESPN, the Nets are above .500 in 47 games for the first time since the 2012-13 NBA season.
