With music legend Prince passing today at only 57 years of age, all who loved his songs are mourning. This includes the NBA family, with many in the basketball industry sharing their memories and condolences for Prince on social media.
Some teams paid special tributes to Prince, including the Warriors’ “Purple Rain” tribute, and Mark Cuban made sure that the Mavericks would honor him as well.
For Game 3 of the opening playoff series between Dallas and Oklahoma City, Cuban made sure the crowd would hear Prince music all game long:
Cuban said he's already told the folks in charge of the music in American Airlines Center to play Prince music all night.
