Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are on a roll, and it sure looks like Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki is enjoying watching the team play this 2021-22 season.

The Mavs saw themselves trailing at halftime on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Like what they have done in their recent games, though, they staged a comeback in the second half with Doncic leading the way. After seeing another epic performance, Dirk took to Twitter to share how much he's having fun with the current Dallas squad.

We couldn't agree more with you, Dirk.

The Mavs have been a fun team to watch since Luka Doncic arrived, that's for sure. However, the current Mavs team hits different as they are also clearly enjoying playing with each other. Not to mention that winning keeps a positive vibe around the squad.

Against the Cavs, Luka recorded a near triple-double with 35 points, nine rebounds and 13 assists. Dorian Finney-Smith also had a breakout game with 28 points along with two rebounds, three assists and one block. In total, four Mavs scored in double figures to stave off Cleveland, 120-112.

Dallas improved its record to 48-29 on the season, increasing its chance to climb to the third spot of the Western Conference standings as well. They have now won three straight, as well as seven of their last 10 games.

Now, hopes are that they can carry the same momentum heading to the playoffs where they look to get past the first round and beyond. Sure enough, Dirk Nowitzki will be watching intensely–perhaps he can attend games and show up on the courtside seats, too!
