An intoxicated fan watching the Dallas Mavericks versus the Boston Celtics match at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday decided to extend the party all the way to coach Rick Carlisle's post-game conference.

Shortly after the Mavs' 109-103 defeat, the unnamed spectator, who obviously had too much to drink, shared his two cents on the game by interrupting Carlisle as he was talking to reporters.

Per Tim Cato of The Athletic:

Despite his drunken state, the fan's words actually had some truth in them. The Mavs showed some fight in their second straight game without their best player in Luka Donic, who is still out due to an ankle injury. Kristaps Porzingis and Seth Curry stepped up, pitching in 23 and 20 points.

Dallas moved the ball far better and recorded more assists than Boston, 23-13. They even shot better from three-point territory, going 15-for-43 (34 percent) contrary to the C's 31.6 percent (12-of-38).

However, the Celtics were simply just better especially down the stretch as Boston's three-headed monster of Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown scored a combined 82 points.

The Mavs are now 1-1 without their sophomore stud, ending the Milwaukee Bucks' 18-game winning streak in their previous outing. The team is currently tied with the Houston Rockets for the fourth and fifth spot in the Western Conference with an 18-9 record.

Doncic, meanwhile, was diagnosed with a mild ankle sprain and is expected to be back right before Christmas. Dallas takes on the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, followed by a clash with the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
