On Tuesday, it has been announced in a bold report by Sports Illustrated's Jon Wertheim and Jessica Luther that the Dallas Mavericks are embroiled in a variety of sexual assault allegations that have happened for years.

The report establishes that several executives have performed sexual misconduct on female employees in a span of over 10 years. These rumors have severely damaged the Mavs' integrity as an organization. Some of the specifics of the incidents were particularly disturbing.

At this meal, with ESPN crew members seated nearby, Ussery struck up an unusual conversation. As the woman recalls the exchange, Ussery claimed that he knew what she was going to do over the coming weekend. When the woman asked, confusedly, what Ussery meant, he smiled.

“You’re going to get gang-banged,” he asserted, “aren’t you?”

“No,” the woman responded, caught off-guard. “Actually, I’m going to the movies with friends.”

“No,” Ussery insisted. “You’re definitely getting gang-banged.”

This corrosive behavior is not only damaging to the Mavs organization but to Mark Cuban as well — the team owner who's been known for his very much hands-on approach to managing his business. What's so shocking about this report is that these actions were done in the open. It must have been common knowledge among the team's executives that things of this nature was going on.

Ever since the dawn of the previous year, women have been coming out with sexual assault allegations. Cuban will definitely receive most of the blame on this situation for not being more aware of these allegations. After all, Cuban is one of the most hands-on owners in the NBA.

Though, Cuban has expressed that changes will be coming to the entire Mavs franchise to avoid these allegations in the future. Hopefully, he is right and this behavior is eliminated from Dallas' workplace.
