The Minnesota Vikings made it back to the playoffs this season and even won a game, but it still wasn't enough. There were a lot of holes exposed throughout the season that need to be fixed if the team wants to make a run at the Super Bowl.

Let's break down three players the Vikings should target in free agency.

Danny Amendola – Wide Receiver

The Vikings have Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen lining up out wide, but after those two it's a big question mark. When Thielen missed time with the hamstring injury, the Vikings couldn't find anyone to step up in his place. The team needs to be aggressive this year during free agency and the draft to get players who can play a role next season.

Danny Amendola is 34 years old, but he proved with the Lions this year that he still has some left to give. He finished the season with 62 catches for 678 yards and a touchdown. He would be a perfect slot guy for the Vikings next season.

Anthony Castonzo – Left Tackle

Who knows if the team is going to even get a chance to sign Anthony Castonzo, but if they do, this is a guy they need to make a deal with. The Vikings' offensive line was a big issue and it was exposed big time against the San Francisco 49ers during the playoffs. Riley Reiff was the starting left tackle last season and the team needs to find an upgrade over him.

Castonzo is 31 years old and he has talked about hanging up the cleats. If he does decide he wants to come back and not re-sign with the Indianapolis Colts, the Vikings need to pay him.

If they can give Kirk Cousins more time in the pocket, that should really improve his game, and Castonzo would be an anchor on the line.

Case Keenum – Quarterback

This probably won't happen, but the team should look at bringing in Case Keenum to be the backup for Cousins. Sean Mannion proved with his Week 17 performance against the Chicago Bears that he isn't a guy who can lead the team to victories if Cousins goes down with an injury.

The one thing Keenum is great at is dealing with pressure if his offensive line struggles. That would be a great fit with an offensive line that isn't great.

The Vikings need to be serious about finding a solid backup quarterback and Keenum would be that guy.
