Devin Booker and Michael Jordan are the cover athletes for NBA 2K23. The Phoenix Suns All-Star will grace the cover for the latest edition of the game, which will have very high expectations, for the first time. The Chicago Bulls legend will be featured on the cover for the fourth time.

Ronnie 2K told Joey Mistretta of ClutchPoints that 2K23 will be the best game yet, which is represented by Jordan being on the over. He also explained that Booker's story and star trajectory made him a strong pick to be the cover athlete for NBA 2K23.

Jordan being on the cover is indeed indicative of a good NBA2k game. The Bulls legend was the cover athlete for NBA 2K11, which fans often rate as one of the best 2K games ever. He shared the cover athlete title for 2K12 along with Magic Johnson and Larry Bird and was on the special edition cover for 2K16.

The trajectory for Booker does make him a solid pick for the 2K23 cover, though the timing is imperfect, to say the least. He and the Suns are coming off of a brutal end to their season. Still, he is one of the game's brightest young stars and a flashy scorer who embraces Mamba Mentality. For the cover of a video game, he makes a lot of sense.

2K23 will also feature WNBA legends Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi on the WNBA edition cover. Presales for the game went live yesterday.
