Vanessa Bryant and Nike have had an up-and-down partnership since her husband Kobe Bryant's death. The Los Angeles Lakers legend's contract expired in April of 2021. Bryant's wife failed to come to an agreement with the corporation, which then became a source of frustration for Vanessa. First, fans had a difficult time trying to purchase Bryant's shoes. Then, Vanessa Bryant called out Nike for producing a shoe in honor of Gianna Bryant, her late daughter, without her permission. However, the company's relationship with Bryant received a very positive update on Thursday. Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to announce that the partnership with Nike, involving Kobe Bryant's signature shoes, would be continuing. NBA stars Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns and Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies took to Twitter to react to the news.

Both Booker and Morant were very happy to hear about Vanessa Bryant's Nike deal. Bryant expressed her excitement on Instagram, saying how proud she was that Kobe's shoe was still the most worn in the NBA.

Nike will donate 100 percent of the proceeds yearly for Bryant's daughters' shoes to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation. It is a great day indeed, as Booker pointed out.

Ja Morant expertly utilized emojis to express his emotions on the Bryant-Nike deal, posting a checkmark and a snake, which is a nod to Kobe's ‘Black Mamba' nickname.

Booker and Morant speak for the entire NBA community in expressing their happiness for Bryant and her family's deal with Nike.
