Former second overall pick Michael Beasley recently showed off his skills in a pickup game. Is he looking to ink a deal with one of the 22 NBA teams set to return to Orlando?

In a video by Swish Cultures, Beasley was shown displaying some sweet shooting in a scrimmage. Moreover, from the looks of it, Beasley has remained in tip-top shape.

The last time Michael Beasley played in the NBA was in the 2018-19 season when he played for the Los Angeles Lakers. He played 26 games for the Purple and Gold franchise and averaged 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. Unfortunately, he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers heading to the February deadline before eventually being waived.

Beasley was one of the top college prospects in 2008. In the NBA Draft of the same year, he was picked second behind former MVP Derrick Rose. For what it's worth, the said draft class also included the likes of Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook and DeAndre Jordan, among others.

However, things didn't pan out for the Kansas State product. He became an NBA journeyman and has played for the Miami Heat (two stints), Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and the Lakers.

Perhaps the good thing about Beasley is that he's just 31-years-old — still within his prime. With some players not bent on suiting up and entering the bubble location in Orlando, this might be Beasley's shot to ink a short-term deal. While it's a long shot, there's always that possibility. Beasley's workout proves that he still has game.
