Markieff Morris vs. Davis Bertans is apparently the NBA's latest feud. The two filmed the sequel to their personal rivalry when the Detroit Pistons faced an energized Washington Wizards team on Monday.

Morris, who played for the Wizards last season before being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, was ejected after clotheslining the Latvian forward in the face during a layup attempt.

While many were expecting a Flagrant 1 to be assessed, Morris got the boot straight away, missing the remainder of the fourth quarter as Bertans took to the free-throw line:

However, this isn't the first time this season that the two have exchanged pleasantries. Back in December, Morris threw Bertans to the ground and soon earned himself a Flagrant 1 foul for his troubles. Bertans wasn't shy to confront Morris for his overly physical play — something that might have sparked this rivalry.

There seems to be no reason why these two have it out for each other. Morris likely has a penchant for performing well against his former team, but there isn't anything that would make these two go at each other besides playing the same position.

Bertans landed in Washington after the San Antonio Spurs hoped to make room for Morris' twin brother, Marcus, who wound up signing with the New York Knicks despite having a two-year, $20 million offer on the table from the Spurs — one he verbally agreed to.

It would be a reach for Markieff Morris to hate on Davis Bertans for being traded to his former team, but at least the two won't have to see each other anymore this NBA season.
