The Boston Celtics are set to play in the highest stakes game of the NBA season thus far. It's a winner-take-all Game 7 on Sunday against the Miami Heat and they're apparently going to do things a little differently.
Celtics head coach Ime Udoka reportedly called off morning shootaround ahead of their Game 7 tilt. NBC reporter Joe Kayata reported the news, stating that an email was sent by the team that they were opting against the early routine as well as the media availability session with Udoka.
The Celtics have just canceled their shoot around for tomorrow morning prior to game 7 in Miami per team. @NBC10 #Celtics

The team sent out an email to the media tonight just before 8 PM letting us know that there will not be a shoot around tomorrow morning. Also canceling the 11 AM Udoka media availability.

What this truly means is anybody's guess. But it could very well be a last-ditch effort by Udoka to motivate the Celtics ahead of their biggest game of the season. The team likely doesn't need as much help warming up their jump shot as much as they do getting rid of the Game 7 jitters and firing them up after a tough Game 6 defeat on their home floor.
Perhaps Ime Udoka has a rousing speech planned or maybe he has a trust fall circle lined up for his guys to know they have each other's backs. Whatever it may be will likely come out if the Celtics are able to pull off the victory and the team is at liberty to reveal what went down during those undisclosed hours.
