Usually, folks enjoy a nice trip to sunny Los Angeles. But that's not true for the Boston Celtics right now.

Right now, though, with the city still dealing with all sorts of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, visiting the City of Angels isn't quite the same experience.

The Celtics are currently in the middle of a five-game West Coast swing, which will bring them to Staples Center on Friday night to face the Los Angeles Clippers.

Talking to reporters on Friday, Celtics point guard Kemba Walker explained why this visit to L.A. is more of a struggle than usual, via ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly.

“Sucks bro. It sucks. Everything sucks at this point. It's hard man. Can't leave the hotel, can't do anything. It's not much fun at this point. Especially coming to L.A. I'm blessed, we're all blessed to be able to do and play the game that we love. So, gotta make a sacrifice.

Boston split the first two games of the trip. On Tuesday, the Celtics fended off the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center, 111-107. Two days later, the C's fell to a hot Sacramento Kings group, 116-111.

Walker has struggled with his game, too, since returning from a knee injury in January. The four-time All-Star is averaging 15.0 points and 4.3 assists and shooting 36.6 percent from the field through seven games. He scored 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting in the Warriors loss and was inactive for the Kings matchup.

At 11-9, the Celtics sit third in the Eastern Conference standings.

After the Clippers game, Boston will finish up their road trip with matchups against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday and the West-leading Utah Jazz on Tuesday.
