Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker had another performance to forget when his team battled against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night. His woeful shooting from the field ultimately hindered his team from gaining any chance of getting back in the win column.

Despite having a dismal outing, Celtics head coach Brad Stevens continues to put his confidence in Walker, who he claimed as a ‘huge part' of their team, via Chris Forsberg.

After two tightly-contested quarters to begin the game, the Jazz eventually pulled away after mounting a 14-point lead in the third quarter. The Celtics managed to come back and trimmed the deficit down to four.

However, the Jazz players were eager to hold their ground as well as they buckled down in crunch time with six straight unanswered possessions. Quin Snyder's squad went on to finish the game on a 122-108 victory.

Walker finished the night with seven points on 2-of-12 shooting from the field along with four rebounds and seven assists. Jaylen Brown picked up the slack and notched 33 points and eight rebounds while Jayson Tatum added 23 points of his own for the Celtics.

Utah was bannered by Donovan Mitchell who had a huge outing with tallies of 36 points, four rebounds, and nine assists. Joe Ingles also provided a lift with 24 points and six assists for the Jazz.

Mitchell and his squad have already won their fifth consecutive game en route to a 20-5 tally for the best record in the NBA. Meanwhile, the Celtics slipped to a two-game losing skid to settle for a 12-11 record.

Kemba Walker has yet to gain his footing this season after missing the first few months of their campaign due to a knee issue. Despite his slow start, he remains to be an integral piece of the Celtics offense, especially with the absence of Marcus Smart who remains out due to a calf injury.

The Celtics will aim to get a victory when they host the Toronto Raptors at home on Feb. 11.
