Boston is once again at the forefront of the sporting world as the Celtics have made their way into the NBA Finals. New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, no stranger to that sort of spotlight himself, reacted to their crosstown brothers competing to bring another title to Beantown.
The Patriots coach was asked about the Celtics making the NBA Finals on Tuesday, and he gave another #classic Bill Belichick answer.
“Another big series for the Celtics so congratulations to the team, the staff, the organization. Great accomplishment and look forward to seeing [the Finals],” said Belichick on the Celtics. “They played great in the last two thirds of the season and the playoffs. They're really consistent. They've got a lot of good players that play really good defense. They're tough. They hustle. Play smart basketball. Fun to watch.”

Give credit to coach Bill for staying consistent in his media responses even just speaking as a fan for a different sport entirely. His Celtics takes were hardly novel and in fact were almost impressively rudimentary in nature.

The Celtics are in for an intense battle against the Golden State Warriors that's sure to test the mettle of rookie head coach Ime Udoka. In city that's known for legendary coaches like Bill Belichick and Red Auerbach, Ime Udoka has a chance to make his mark in Boston early.
