Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett share a close bond that is defined by their respect for one another and their championship together in 2008 with the Boston Celtics.
Both of these legends have had a different road in the NBA. Kevin Garnett was drafted at 17 years of age in 1994. He went on to become a franchise star for the Minnesota Timberwolves, while becoming one of the best power forwards in league history. On the other hand, Pierce was drafted in 1998 and had to struggle with an untalented Celtics team. Essentially, both players needed each other and they soon reunited on the Celtics in 2007. Along with Ray Allen, Garnett and Pierce formed one of the earliest modern superteams in the NBA. Now, their bond remains strong, especially since Pierce's #34 jersey was retired by the Celtics on Sunday.
In light of the festivities, Pierce had an interesting opinion on how Garnett wears his hoodies. He apparently believes that Garnett tapes his hoodies to his head.

It is somewhat intriguing of how Garnett always keeps his hoodie tucked on his head. He did lose his hair many years ago and the hoodie has nothing to hold on to. Maybe Pierce is right and Garnett is taping his hoodie to his head before he wears it. Though, Garnett is sure to clap back at Pierce for making a ridiculous statement about his hoodie.
In any case, this exchange shows the camaraderie between the two future Hall-of-Famers. Hopefully, Garnett can explain why he is able to keep his hoodie on all the time soon.
