Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has officially made his pick for Super Bowl 56. The big game features the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals. For a St. Louis native such as Tatum, seeing the Rams in the big game is likely bittersweet.

The Rams called The Gateway to the West their home when Tatum was born and left to go back to Los Angeles in 2016. Their abrupt exit from the city left football fans in the region out to dry. The franchise's only Super Bowl win came when they were located in St. Louis.

After the Celtics' win over the Atlanta Hawks, Tatum made his pick for the Super Bowl but made sure to let his hometown roots show.

Although the Super Bowl is anyone's game, the Rams are the favorites and a very sensible pick to win. They boast the best player between either team, defensive tackle Aaron Donald, and are a very strong team all-around. Their offense, led by Matthew Stafford, is very strong and their defense has stars everywhere. The Celtics star can't go wrong with this pick.

The Bengals are no slouches, though. They have thrived by proving everyone wrong during this postseason and are looking for their first Super Bowl win. Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati offense have hit their stride.

Tatum and the Celtics are hitting their stride in a similar way, winning their last eight games.
