Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is one of the best young players in the league, mainly known for his smooth offensive game. However, Tatum can also get up and throw it down.
That was on full display during the Celtics' game against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night, when Tatum caught what was a perfect alley-oop pass from Terry Rozier and rose up for the vicious slam:

Some credit also needs to go to Celtics big man Daniel Theis, who tipped out a missed three by Tatum at the beginning of the possession, leading to the Rozier-Tatum connection.
Tatum entered Wednesday night averaging 16.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and one steal over 31.1 minutes per game while shooting 44.8 percent from the floor, 38.1 percent from three-point range and 85.5 percent from the free-throw line.
The 20-year-old, who played his collegiate basketball at Duke University, was originally selected by Boston with the third overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft.
Remember: the C's originally had the No. 1 pick in that draft (via the Brooklyn Nets), but decided to trade down with the Philadelphia 76ers to acquire the No. 3 overall selection and a future asset that ended up being this year's Sacramento Kings' first-rounder.
The 76ers ended up with Markelle Fultz, and the Celtics took Tatum.
It seems safe to say that Boston has won that deal.
The C's entered their game against the Hornets having won six of their last seven, only losing in a 115-111 thriller against the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
The Celtics have also gone 21-9 since their 10-10 start and look well on their way to going 22-9.
