NBA legend Magic Johnson is hyped up after seeing Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo put on a show on Friday.

The two stars scored over 40 points each in the Game 6 showdown, combining for a total of 90 points. Tatum got the better of the two with his 46 points, but Antetokounmpo's 44 points on top of 20 rebounds is nothing to scoff at as well.

Boston ended up winning 108-95 to force Game 7 and position one of the best series of the 2022 playoffs to conclude in the most fitting way possible.

More than that, though, Johnson took to Twitter to share how happy he is to see the two youngsters showing everyone what the future holds for the NBA.

“The NBA is in great shape for years to come with these two superstars, Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo. This series is all tied up at 3-3 and I can't wait until Game 7!!” the Los Angeles Lakers icon wrote.

True enough after seeing what Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo did in Game 6, no one can argue against Magic Johnson. They are among the best young players in the NBA today, and everyone else is lucky to see them play on the biggest stage basketball has to offer.

It is quite unfortunate, however, that the series is going to end soon. It would have been better had the two faced in a Finals game, but only one team can move on to the Eastern Conference finale now.

After the epic Game 6, though, fans can surely expect more fireworks come Game 7.
