The Brooklyn Nets made quick work of the Golden State Warriors on opening night, as they blew out the Dubs, 125-99. Kevin Durant finally made his debut for Brooklyn, but aside from his impressive performance, it was also his post-game interview with Charles Barkley that made headlines.

Sir Charles threw a question to Durant about the latter's road to recovery, and apparently, KD was not really in the mood to provide a detailed response. As a matter of fact, Barkley's query prompted just a one-word answer from Durant. Unsurprisingly, Barkley's Inside the NBA co-hosts had a field day about it:

Barkley and Durant don't exactly have the perfect relationship, and this was on full display on Tuesday night. Unfortunately for Barkley, it was him that was on the receiving end of what turned out to be an epic blow off from the Nets superstar.

It was a memorable debut for Durant, who faced off against his former team in the Warriors. The former league MVP  finished with 22 points on 7-of-16 shooting, to go along with five rebounds, three assists, three steals, a block, and just one turnover in just 25 minutes of action.

Durant and Co. came firing out of the gates, outscoring the Warriors 40-25 in the first quarter. They mounted a huge lead early on, and they never looked back.

It was a tremendous performance for Brooklyn, and it was the perfect start they were hoping for.

As for Barkley, however, he'll likely want to take a different approach the rest time he interviews Durant.
