For Boston Celtics power forward Marcus Morris, his two hasty ejections by the officials within the span of one week has him perplexed.

Morris even made the comparison that he was being treated like former star forward Rasheed Wallace, who was known for his quick temper and fast technical fouls, including an infamous ejection for simply staring down a referee.

“I kind of feel like I'm getting that Rasheed Wallace treatment, just, quick trigger, quick trigger,” Morris said, per Celtics reporter Chris Forsberg of ESPN.

Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said he isn't worried about Morris' recent ejections, while the power forward assured that his temper would not get the best of him in the playoffs.

“Going in the playoffs, that's nothing to worry about. I promise I won't get no techs unless we're just getting blatantly cheated,” Morris said. “I want my team to win, so I won't put my team in jeopardy or anything like that. But I'm still passionate about the game, like I said.”

With the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference already locked up for Boston, Morris was rested for Sunday's 112-106 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. Coach Stevens rested many of his key players during the fourth quarter, as the Hawks rallied past the Celtics to pick up the victory at TD Garden.

In 53 games during his first season with Boston, Morris is currently averaging 13.7 points on 43.3 percent shooting from the floor, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 26.8 minutes of action per contest.
