The Detroit Pistons need Blake Griffin if they want any chance of taking down the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4, so the team will have their hopes up on the All-Star forward's availability on Monday.

After being a game-time decision in Game 3, Griffin has now been upgraded to probable for their do-or-die matchup against the Bucks.

Blake Griffin has been dealing with a nagging left knee soreness throughout the series. He missed the first two games due to the same issue before he forced his way to play in Game 3. In fact, Pistons coach Dwane Casey still had concerns on his health status prior to their third game of the first round playoff series.

Griffin posted 27 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a losing effort for Detroit in Game 3. Should he be available — which is highly likely given what's at stake — the Motor City team will lean on him again to carry the scoring load.

The former Los Angeles Clippers star is clearly not yet at 100 percent, but the Pistons have no other choice if they still aspire to turn things around.

The Pistons are officially on the verge of elimination after going down 0-3, though it has seemingly felt that way since the start of their opening round series against the Bucks.
