Golden State Warriors Kevin Durant hasn't played since Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals when he suffered a strained calf. There were initial reports that he could return sometime in the NBA Finals, but that has not happened yet.

Three games have already been played, and the Warriors are now down in the best-of-seven championship series two games to one after the Raptors' 123-109 victory on Wednesday night. Golden State is approaching what is close to a must-win situation in Game 4 and could use all the help possible.

Durant obviously wants to play, and most of the people who have seen him are aware of how frustrated he has been that he can't join the team in the most important part of the season. One Warriors employee told The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears that it's “killing” KD to not be out there.

Durant was asked what his status is heading into Game 4, and he said there will be an update on Thursday.

Durant is not the only one who has been sidelined for the Warriors. Klay Thompson also sat out Game 3 due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Game 2. The hope for the Warriors is both Thompson and Durant will be available for Game 4.

The Warriors will look to even the series at two games apiece when they host Game 4 on Friday.
