San Francisco, CA – The Golden State Warriors have been showered with good news, but that's not the case when it comes to center James Wiseman. Last season the big man suffered a meniscus injury that's kept him out longer than expected. Friday after the Dubs practice Steve Kerr gave an update on the young talented player.

“James has been ramping up individual workouts,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “He has spent a lot of time on the floor this past week, and he's been doing well with it. There's nothing planned yet going forward in terms of contact work, but the individual work has gone well.”

Golden State recently got their starting shooting guard Klay Thompson back and they hoped Wiseman would be back playing by now also. Unfortunately, that isn't the case yet. There is no timetable for his return.

If you are looking at the glass half full and not half empty this is good news. He's getting more individual work and the next step is 5-on-5 scrimmaging which means full contact activities. Once Wiseman starts participating in full practices, it will mean his return to the court is soon.
