The Golden State Warriors are getting ready for the final portion of the NBA season, and they are hoping to end it at full strength. This week, rumors of an early March return date for center James Wiseman surfaced and the chatter has Warriors fans excited.

After a late practice in Portland, Warriors coach Steve Kerr gave an update on the big man's progress.

“It's just great to see him back out on the floor, seeing him smiling, seeing him happy,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “It's all good stuff, but we'll just keep taking it a day at a time. No proclamations, no plans beyond the next day, and we'll go from there.”

When a player participates in practice on the road, it usually means he will be back on the court pretty soon. Kerr made it clear there is no plan, but this is definitely a good sign for Wiseman and the Warriors.

There has been nothing but good things said about Wiseman and how he has performed in practice. Before the All-Star break, Juan Toscano-Anderson gloated about how good the center looked on the court, and Kerr also said the former Memphis standout is looking good and feeling well after a good All-Star break.

The return is going to be soon—it's just a matter of when—and will it be enough time for Wiseman to positively impact the Warriors. It's only 23 games left in the season, so he and the team will have to figure things out in a hurry when he gets back.
