During the whole controversy involving China and Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was called out by President Donald Trump after initially offering no comment on the situation.

Trump, arguably the most polarizing President in American history, said Kerr was “like a little boy, he was shaking” when asked to talk about the NBA's controversy with China and Morey.

Kerr has never been shy to bash Trump and the Warriors coach will likely continue to do so with the election coming up. The former player-turned-coach was recently a guest on “Jemele Hill is Unbothered” and he talked about what it was like getting called out by the Commander in Chief.

“Yeah, it was really strange. It was very weird,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said about getting called out by President Donald Trump.

“And I know that you know the feeling cause you were called out by him too. It felt so, kind of slimy, you know, it's like really, like we got – you don't have anything bigger on the agenda today? You know, and, uh, but I was also kind of ashamed because his comments came on the heels of the discussion about China after Daryl Morey's comments. And it was probably the one time in my career where I was very unsure about what I should say. And I felt, I didn't feel pressured by anybody, but I felt sort of cornered by my own circumstances in terms of how I should respond and my response was terrible.

“And so in some ways, I deserve the criticism that I got, but not really from the President because, you know, there was especially on the China issue – because we can go into all kinds of detail about how, you know, his relationship with the Chinese government and the trade agreement.”

Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry has been called out by Trump as well. It's safe to say there isn't anyone in the NBA who is a Trump supporter.

Speaking of Curry, he and his wife have already announced they are going to vote for Joe Biden in the upcoming election and we can assume Kerr is going to as well.
