Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says he is still not feeling 100 percent well, but is confident in his ability to reach peak physical condition, per The Mercury News’ Mark Medina.
Steve Kerr: "I feel better. I'm not 100 %. But I'm on a good path & feel confident I'll be 100%."

Kerr has battled back problems during his stint as Warriors head coach. He had two back surgeries in 2015 to fix the pain caused by a spinal fluid leak. The surgeries caused him to miss the first 43 games of the 2015-16 season. He then missed 11 games of last year’s playoffs due to severe pain in his back before returning in Game 2 of the Finals.

Considering how the Warriors have lost just four of the 54 games Kerr has missed, they will probably survive if their head coach does opt to sit some games out to fully recover from his condition.
Nevertheless, it’s promising news to hear that Steve Kerr is doing well and on the path to recovery from what has to be a challenging last couple of years for him. Hopefully, it won’t be long before he can finally begin to live pain-free, or close to it.
