Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul is working with the Watts-Willowbrook Boys & Girls club to introduce the kids to the other game that he loves.

The Chris Paul Family Foundation teamed up with CDW to install a GOLFZON golf simulator technology, along with new tablets and notebooks, all to show the kids what the game of golf is all about.

When asked about his new project, Paul had a few things to say about his experience and the sport he's trying to introduce to the kids.

For me, I always ask myself why I didn’t I start playing golf earlier. A lot of it is because it’s expensive and it’s not introduced to a lot of African American kids. My son is one of the few who’s been introduced to the game at a young age, but I’m trying to change that.

PGA golfer Gary Woodland and LPGA golfer Alison Lee joined Paul in what they see as a door to open opportunities that the kids wouldn't normally enjoy.

Paul himself said he wasn't introduced to golf until he attended Wake Forest, and it has become a favorite game to play with his dad and brother.

Now, I find myself watching the Golf Channel all day every day

The simulator will aid in helping the ones who don't have the money or extra time to hit the golf course frequently, but not before Paul and friends went through some drills with the kids.

Giving back to these kids is what it’s all about. Obviously, basketball is what I do just about day in and day out, but things like this are bigger than the game, bigger than a player, bigger than any one person.

Now the lessons begin.
