By now, there's no doubt that former Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade is nothing but proud of what current franchise star Bam Adebayo has become.

After a stellar outing with the Heat last season, Miami chose to put their faith on the 23-year-old and offered him a whopping five-year extension. One of his first purchases after the deal was a house as a birthday gift to his mom–something Wade tipped his hat to.

The three-time champion shared his utmost joy for the Adebayos on his Instagram Stories, where he shared the photo of Bam surprising his mom Marilyn.

“Always take care of moms. @bam1of1 Good sh*t!” Wade expressed (via Heat Nation).

The NBA loves a good old mother-and-son storyline, and this is certainly not an exemption. The look on Bam's mom was definitely priceless.

The price tag on the house won't really matter, as Adebayo got his much-deserved contract extension after one heck of a 2019-20 campaign with the Heat. The former Kentucky Wildcats standout made it to his first All-Star team and ended the regular season as part of the NBA All-Defensive Second Team.

Adebayo averaged an impressive 15.9 points per game and added 10.5 rebounds for the Heat, but his contribution to head coach Erik Spoelstra's squad was way more than what was recorded on the stat sheets.

This 2020-21, Bam Adebayo is looking to continue to make Dwyane Wade and the rest of Heat Nation proud as he embarks on his fourth year in the league. With Jimmy Butler and the rest of the Miami Heat on his back, look for Adebayo to put more than just smiles on the faces of all the Heat fans.
