Despite getting struck by a spate of injuries, the Miami Heat have managed to remain competitive. In case you're aren't aware, because the Heat have always been under the radar, they are atop the Eastern Conference right now with a 37-20 record.
That's really quite impressive, considering the Heat have missed Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry for extended periods. Now, Tyler Herro has been ruled out of their game against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday after suffering a knee injury.
This has led fans to express deep concerns that Herro could be the latest guy to sit out for the Heat. But according to Miami Herald's Anthony Chiang, there's no need to worry, as the high-scoring guard only has a knee contusion.

The Heat are erring on the side of caution with Herro, the NBA's leading scorer off the bench with a career-high 20.0 points per outing. Resting his knee against the Mavericks would aid his recovery and avoid any untoward developments heading to the All-Star break.
Aside from Butler, Adebayo, and Lowry, the Heat have also missed the services of Markieff Morris and Victor Oladipo, with the latter yet to appear in a single game this season after undergoing surgery for his torn quadriceps.
The Heat will be looking for their sixth straight win when they take on the Mavericks at home.
