Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro is having one of the most stirring runs by a rookie in NBA playoffs history.
His confidence has been through the roof. It's so high, he's not afraid to take difficult shots against the Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals — just like his skyscraper of a looper over the outstretched arms of Anthony Davis in the third quarter of Game 4 on Tuesday night.

With their possession going haywire and the shot clock winding down, the former Kentucky star drove strong to the paint and ran into AD. But Tyler Herro, the youngest player to ever start in an NBA Finals game, was guile enough to flip the high floater to avoid getting blocked.
The 20-year-old Heat rookie struggled in the first half, going only 3-of-10 for seven points, including missing all of his three attempts from long distance. But as he has proven this entire postseason, he doesn't care about his shooting percentages. He can go off at any given moment, just like in their Game 3 win where he poured in eight of his 17 points in the final frame — punctuated by a 3-point play and a sneer seen around the world.
Heat superstars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo have raved so much about Herro and have taken him under their wings. After three games, Herro is averaging 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in his first ever trip to the Last Dance.
