Much like the rest of the NBA community, Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George is also grieving the shocking death of renowned American actor and producer Chadwick Boseman on Friday. Boseman, who was only 43 at the time of his passing, succumbed to a four-year battle with colon cancer.
The “Black Panther” and “42” actor has been an avid supporter of the NBA over the years and has had plenty of interactions with the athletes. George paid tribute to Boseman by posting a short, but heartwarming interaction he had with the late actor.

PG13 detailed how Boseman told him that he has gone vegan during their last interaction. The photo also showed Boseman and George hanging out with NBA Hall of Famer Reggie Miller, as well as actors Don Cheadle and Michael Rapaport.

Fans have noticed his drastic weight loss over the years, but few suspected he was dealing with a major health issue. In fact, Boseman managed to film four Marvel movies and other major projects while getting treatment for his cancer.
Boseman participated in the NBA All-Star Weekend Celebrity Game in 2015. In 2018, he assisted Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo in the SlamDunk Contest by giving him his Black Panther mask.
Chadwick Boseman's death, meanwhile, marks yet another gut-wrenching tragedy in 2020. The Hollywood celebrity even once posted a photo alongside the late great Kobe Bryant, who also passed away last January.
