Yesterday, J.J. Redick and Lamorne Morris (Winston from New Girl) went on Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons to discuss Team USA.

Mike Krzyzewski, the current USA coach, was obviously Redick's coach at Duke when he was there. J.J. Redick told Bill Simmons on the show yesterday that he had actually received a call from his former coach regarding the team.

J.J. Redick is one of the premier shooting guards in the league today and it is a little shocking to hear that he didn't receive an invite given the number of players that were not attending.

Redick said it himself that his wife would not have wanted him to go if he was indeed invited so it's probably better that he didn't get the invite.
