Does Oklahoma State's Cade Cunningham have it? Dwyane Wade certainly thinks so.
Taking to Twitter following Cunningham's clutch three to win the Cowboys' game over Wichita State, Wade had three simple words for one big message on the talented freshman.
He got it! https://t.co/Po2iXnQwjm

Cunningham is already projected to be the top overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft, and he is already showing everyone the reason for the hype.

Coming from Montverde Academy in Florida, Cunningham was the number one recruit in the country, according to Rivals and 247Sports, while being ranked second by ESPN. He was courted by the likes of Duke, North Carolina, and Kentucky, but chose Oklahoma State, in part, due to the program hiring his brother Cannen as an assistant coach.
Wade knows talent when he sees it and many have compared Cunningham to LeBron James. At 6-foot-8, he is tall for a traditional point guard but plays the game much like James. He is good with the ball in his hands, being able to do whatever it takes to have the team score on offense.
He's willing to both take control of the rock and facilitate, depending on what the situation calls for. While he only scored 10 points against Wichita State, his presence and his ability to step up when the game was on the line gave the Cowboys the win.
In only a few games at the college level, Cade Cunningham already looks to be NBA-ready. He is one to watch for the remainder of the college basketball season, both for the Cowboys' NCAA Tournament hopes as well as looking forward to the NBA.
