New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard JJ Redick knows exactly why everything that was said on the NBA conference call about resuming the 2019-20 season got leaked to the public.

During an interview with Bill Simmons of The Ringer, Redick revealed that NBA reporter Shams Charania — who works for The Athletic and Stadium — was on every conference call and recording the conversations.

Shams is arguably one of the best reporters in the NBA. He regularly fights Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN and Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports in breaking the biggest news in the association.

JJ Redick calling out Shams is pretty hilarious, though. People were wondering how Charania was getting all the info on the NBA's restart plan so quickly. Now, we know his dirty little secret.

The 2019-20 NBA season is scheduled to resume on July 30 at Walt Disney World in sunny Orlando, Florida. A total of 22 teams will be staying at the Walt Disney Resort.

Players from the 22 NBA teams coming to the Walt Disney Resort have been informed that anyone who leaves the Orlando campus will be subjected to a 10-14 day self-quarantine period. Moreover, players who violate the campus rules will have a reduction in compensation for games missed and enhanced COVID-19 testing — which would be the wretched deep nasal swab.

Prior to games getting suspended in March, the Milwaukee Bucks had the top record in the NBA, while the Los Angeles Lakers were atop the Western Conference standings.

Redick and Pelicans will be battling it out with the Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns for the final playoff spot in the West once the “bubble” games begin.
