Draymond Green has been around the block quite a bit. In fact, this is his sixth trip to the NBA Finals in the past eight years. Be that as it may, the Golden State Warriors star still considers this to be one of the most memorable title runs he's had in his career.

Green opened up about how he's learned to be more appreciative of what the Warriors have achieved this season, especially after the struggles they had to go through over the past two seasons:

“After the last two years, you just realize it's not guaranteed. Anything can happen in the blink of an eye that changes everything,” Green said, via NBA on Twitter. “So you just understand that you don't have these opportunities often, and when you do, you have to enjoy them, embrace them, and share them with the people you love.”

As they always say, the sweet is not as sweet without the bitter. For Draymond Green, however, the sweetest part about all this is being able to share these priceless moments with the people he holds most dear in his heart — his family.

“Just to share these moments with my family, with my children, in particular, they're 7, 5, and 1,” he continued. “You want the pictures. You hope that when they are 15 that they remember this. Just to have these moments in the pinnacle of our careers is hard to really put it into words. It's such an incredible thing.”

Green has been quite sentimental of late as the prospect of becoming a four-time NBA champ slowly sinks in. He of all people knows, however, that this is anything but a done deal for the Warriors. Expect Dray to leave everything on the floor on Thursday night.
