Greg Monroe trade rumors have cooled over the last two weeks.
With the Milwaukee Bucks and Miles Plumlee agreeing to a four-year deal yesterday, Monroe trade talks may start to pick up, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
It makes a lot of sense because some people didn't fully understand the Plumlee signing. It was a lot of money to throw at a player of his caliber, something that seemed to exponentially be the case when you consider the Bucks are now committing around $40 million to the trio of Monroe, Plumlee, and John Henson next year.

Throw in the drafting of Thon Maker, and Monroe may be most valuable to Milwaukee as a trade piece.
Monroe has made a name for himself in this league as a pillar of consistency. He played his first five seasons with the Pistons before joining the Bucks last year. He averaged 15.3 points and 8.8 rebounds in 79 games last season after four years of at least 15 and nine in Detroit.

The Boston Celtics were once a team mentioned, but that was before they acquired Al Horford. The Blazers were another, but they've since signed Festus Ezeli.
Monroe, along with Rudy Gay, remains one of the most accomplished players in the league who is on the trade block. It's just unclear at this point where he could go.
