Boston Celtics star point guard Kemba Walker says he's a big fan of Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell.
Mitchell and Walker had a nice back and forth on Monday in Las Vegas at Team USA training camp. Mitchell’s late free throws would help Team White beat Team Blue, 30-27.
After the scrimmage, Walker told reporters the Jazz got a good one in Mitchell.

“I love Donovan’s game, man. From day one he stepped in this league and killed it. He’s continuing to kill it so I’m happy for him. He’s a hard worker.”
Last season for the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell averaged 23.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists while shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line. The youngster has established himself as one of the best scorers in the league at the two-guard spot.
Kemba Walker and Donovan Mitchell are trying to make the 12-man USA team which will compete at this year’s World Cup in China. The Jazz are hoping Mitchell makes the club so he can continue to grow his game in advance of the 2019-20 season.
Playing alongside players of Walker's caliber will only make Mitchell a better player.
