The Arizona Wildcats are a program that seems to be in question in regards to the FBI's probing around the sport. The program is not, however, the only entity close to campus directly impacted by the feds dropping in. Jahvon Quinerly, one of the nation's top 2018 recruits and an Arizona commit, is a player reportedly described as being on the verge of receiving money for his play.

Jahvon Quinerly isn't taking too kindly to the allegations and has now hired a lawyer. Also of note, despite the direct connection in the FBI report of the player-to-the-school, he remains committed to the Wildcats.

“It was the worst week of my life,” Quinerly told Scout.

“I’m still committed to Arizona right now, but I’m just taking it slow,” Quinerly said. “I got a lawyer. He’s just giving me step by step what to do and what to say, things like that. He’s just helping me a lot.

“He said I should be fine,” he added.

Quinerly noted that he’s hired lawyer, Alan Milstein, to represent him.

“I mean, I came home from school to a reporter outside my house,” Quinerly said. “It was just too hectic for me and my family. We got hit with it at the wrong time.”

“I committed early so I could get everything off my chest, get the stress off my chest and just focus on this and high school season and just grow as a player. This right here, I’m going to get through it, but it’s been tough this past week. Being able to come out here and play helped me a lot.”

Here is to hoping, no matter what, this gets resolved quickly. Also, reporters, don't chill out at a kid's house. That is just weird.
