Alex Tchikou, a four-star prospect out of the 2021 college basketball recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The youngster made the announcement of the offer himself on the mean streets of Twitter.

The 6-11 power forward, who attends Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, is drawing plenty of interest, recently receiving a scholarship offer from the Kansas Jayhawks.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers not only Kansas as teams in the mix, but also the North Carolina State Wolfpack, Baylor Bears, TCU Horned Frogs and many others.

Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have Alex Tchikou pegged as a four-star caliber player, but most tend to agree he's one of the 30 (or so) best players in the entire 2021 college basketball recruiting class.

As for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, they're hoping the hiring of Fred Hoiberg is enough to regularly put the program near the top of the Big Ten Conference.

Hoigberg spent time flailing around in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls. However, before that, he was a standout coach for the Iowa State Cyclones. There's reason to believe the Huskers are in good hands.
