Brooklyn Nets alternate governor Joseph Tsai has been fined $35,000 for making public statements detrimental to the NBA.

Tsai tweeted the following tweet after Game 4 and was fined for it on Monday.

The Nets lost Game 4 after center Jarrett Allen had the ball stripped away from him by Sixers All-Star Ben Simmons. However, Allen was fouled by Tobias Harris before that, but the refs didn't call the foul.

Nets coach Kenny Atkinson and Sean Marks were very upset about the call, leading to Marks heading to the officials' locker room. Marks has been suspended one game and fined $25,000 for his actions.

Brooklyn is also upset Sixers star Joel Embiid wasn't called for a Flagrant 2 foul when he viciously elbowed Allen in Game 2. Embiid also laughed about the elbow during his postgame press conference, although the star center says he didn't mean to.

The Nets are down 3-1 to the Sixers. Philly can close the series out on Tuesday in Philadelphia. The players on Brooklyn definitely appreciate their GM and owner backing them, though.

Players on the Nets will play harder knowing their superiors have their back. It could also be a message to future free agents. The Nets will have cap space this summer to sign max contract players and will surely sell their culture to whichever star meets with them once free agency starts on July 1.
