Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets were a little over a minute away from burying the Milwaukee Bucks in a 0-3 hole. KD just sank an ice-cold three-pointer to put his team up, 83-80, with only 1:23 left on the clock.

But then the Bucks countered with a clutch bucket of their own, which the Nets failed to match in the dying embers of the contest:

Kevin Durant spoke out about the tough finish, indicating that they failed to make the right plays down the stretch and might have rushed some opportunities worth capitalizing.

Durant also noted that the Nets may have battled their way back from an early deficit, but it's not a situation they'd prefer to be in. Brooklyn fell down large in the first quarter, falling behind 30-9 at a certain point before slowly climbing their way back into the contest, via New York Post's Brian Lewis.

“I like how we clawed back into the game, but I hate how we started out that way.”

Durant finished the contest with 30 points, on a miserable 11-for-28 shooting clip. Both teams shot poorly, but the Nets were a shade worse, connecting on just 36.2% of their shot attempts. KD doesn't want the Nets thinking things will balance themselves out in Game 4, though.
