Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant doesn't seem to be bothered that teammate James Harden is still out with a few games left in the regular season. Durant has his eyes locked on the NBA Playoffs where he believes The Beard will return and do some damage.

After their 116-103 win over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, which locked them a postseason ticket, Durant shared his optimism on Harden's eventual return (via Brian Lewis of NY Post).

While the Nets have already qualified for the NBA Playoffs, they're still looking to get the first seed. But from the looks of it, Durant and coach Steve Nash are not too concerned about it. In his first year with the Nets, Nash is gunning for the elusive Larry O'Brien trophy. And frankly, he has the tools and the talent to make it happen.

Time will tell what the Nets' plans are with 10 games left in the regular season. Harden is already reported to miss the remainder of the regular season after suffering a setback during his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury. Despite this, Durant is confident that his fellow former MVP won't skip a beat come the NBA Playoffs.

With regards to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, it wouldn't be surprising if Nash rests one of the two All-Stars. After all, it's common practice for top-tier teams to sit out their stars late in the regular season. His comments seem to indicate that their last few games have no bearing anymore. At this point, the Nets are gearing up for the long and tedious postseason haul.
