Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is catching a lot of flak lately after telling the organization he'd like a trade. Shannon Sharpe is just the latest media figure to roast him.

Sharpe went on a wild rant where he essentially said KD is running away from the pressure after the Nets' abrupt first-round exit a few months ago.

Via ClutchPoints:

“I was surprised, but then I realized KD's a runner, he's a track star, he's going to run away when it gets hard… I'm so disappointed in KD… he wanted to build his own team… now he wants out, already?!”

You can call the Nets forward a quitter, but to be honest, he's not exactly wrong for wanting to leave Brooklyn. Kyrie Irving brought all the drama when he refused to get vaccinated last season and prior to that, he even took a leave of absence due to personal reasons. From Day 1, this experiment just never worked out. It even resulted in James Harden forcing a trade.

Durant is already garnering a ton of interest from across the NBA, with the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat believed to be his top two landing spots. But, the Nets are reportedly waiting it out to get the best possible offer for KD and Kyrie for that matter, although it appears the Lakers are the only team keen on making a move for the controversial guard.

At this point, Kevin Durant is used to slander on social media. Sharpe's words won't faze him the least. Well, they shouldn't.
